Every scout deserves
trained leaders
The BSA program has numerous training programs
designed to give every involved adult the proper training necessary to perform
his or her position in scouting. Some courses are intended for every
adult, while others are more specialized to the adults position. An adult
that takes a combination of training courses appropriate for his or her position
is recognized by wearing the 'Trained' patch on the uniform. Some courses
are available on-line, others require attendance in person. Most courses
are offered free of charge, however some have fees associated with them.
Troop 732 offers reimbursement of fees for appropriate training by certain
positions within the troop. Check the Standard Operating Procedure and
talk to the Training Committee Member for details on required training and
possible reimbursement of expenses.
